Coast and Country £210 (ss£55)

Coast & Country

Exmoor National Park comprises 267 square miles of which two thirds lies in West Somerset and one third in North Devon. Our walking holidays will give you the opportunity to explore the contrasting countryside with its deep wooded coombs, farmland, grass and heather moors as well as the magnificent coastline. The walks take you along parts of the South West Coastal Path, Two Moors Way and Lorna Doone Valley. We look for Red Deer and Exmoor ponies that roam the moors.

We visit the magnificent Valley of the Rocks with wonderful views across the Bristol Channel to the Welsh coast as well as the Lorna Doone Valley, made famous by the author R.D.Blackmore, and also Oare Church where in the novel Lorna Doone was shot.

Your accommodation for these holidays will be at the Simonsbath House Hotel in the tranquil village of Simonsbath, 10 miles from Lynmouth and an ideal location for walkers.

Your own transport is required to enjoy this holiday.
