Bath and West Country Walks is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you and in accordance with "The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018" all customers booking with Bath and West Country Walks are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation.The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation of curtailment of your holiday due to the insolvency of Bath and West Country Walks. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Travel through Zurich Insurance PLC.

This policy will not cover any monies paid for Travel Insurance or any claim relating to Air Flights. If you have booked flights as part of your holiday, you should ensure that the company with which you booked the flights has the appropriate CAA/ATOL bonds in place
The price of your holiday includes accommodation and full English breakfast with picnic lunch and dinner on guided walks.All accommodation is in Country House Hotels,Historic Inns,Guest Houses with en-suite facilities. Single supplement applies on self guided holidays only.Baggage transfer is included on linear walks.
A £50 per person deposit is required to confirm a booking (£100 per person for overseas holidays). We will hold bookings by phone,or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) for up to 10 Days. This is only refundable if your holiday is unavailable or we have to cancel the holiday. Payment can be made by cheque, on-line or electronic transfer. We will provide bank details for payment by electronic transfer.
Payment of the balance is required 6 weeks before the holiday start date and ten weeks before for overseas holidays.Your money is protected n accordance with "The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018".
If any person named on the booking form wishes to cancel their holiday reservation,the person who made the original booking must inform the company of the cancellation in writing. Cancellation will take effect from the date the written notice is received in our office. For cancellations received 42 days before a holiday commences only your deposit is forfeited. Refunds will be made according to following schedule:
No refund can be given for cancellation on the day the holiday starts or whilst on holiday. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any booking upon which we will refund all monies paid to us.
In the unlikely event that fewer than 4 guests book onto a guided holiday we reserve the right to cancel the holiday up to 4 weeks prior to the commencement. Guests will have the option to transfer to another available tour or receive a prompt refund of all monies paid.
We recommend that you take out insurance to cover cancellation, personal accident, illness or loss of possessions for English holidays. On overseas holidays it is a condition of booking that you take out travel insurance. Please make sure your policy covers the activities to be undertaken. Bath & West Country Walks or its agents cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to your baggage, or for illness or injury, nor public liability for any holiday arranged by us.
Please let us know of any complaints straight away, or at the latest within 24 hours, in order that steps can be taken to rectify the problem.
Due to farming and wildlife considerations we regret we cannot accommodate dogs and pets.
We assume that all people have a reasonable level of good health to be able to enjoy our holidays but it is advisable to inform us of any medical condition which may effect you whilst taking part in our holidays.
