From the Hotel we follow the beautiful river valley through the tiny villages of Bodenalm and Giessenbach. The walk continues along the river valley to the village of Scharnitz. Here we can shorten the walk or continue over the German border to the town of Mittenwald.
Our walk starts from the Hotel and takes us through woodland to Triendlsage and then on through the valley up to Neuleutasch. On reaching Neuleutasch we continue to climb upwards towards open meadows with beautiful flowers and wonderful views of the mountains. We then wind our way through the forest to Wildmoos and then onwards back to Seefeld.
The Rosshutte tramway takes us to the Middle Station (1760m) and then we take a cable car to the Seefelder Joch (2064m) where the views are just breathtaking. We then walk the Alpine Trail to the Seefelder Spitze (2220m). Our walk returns back to the Rosshutte Middle Station where we spend time enjoying the wonderful views of the Tyrolean Alps before descending back to Seefeld.
This walk takes you through the 'Leutasch Spirit Gorge' and you walk the 800 metres along the magnificent walkway high above Leutascher Ache, which is a brilliant feat of engineering in itself. The route then takes into the pretty German town of Mittenwald and onwards to the beautiful lakes of Ferensee and Lautersee before returning back to Mittenwald.
Our transport takes us from from Seefeld to Leutasch Klamm and we walk through the beautiful valley passing the memorial to St Joseph and then follow a forest track down to Gaistalalm before meeting the river and following it all the way back to Leutasch Klamm.
